How can I upload MP3 files to Band Cage?

Register your band

Now that you are logged in, open the Register a new band link and fill out a profile for your band. This will also create a free website for your band.

Upload Your MP3s

From the Settings page for the band account you created, follow the Upload Music link. We recommend converting your files into MP3 or OGG format since these are the most compatible. (Most people's Internet browsers cannot play .m4a or .wma files for example. You can save files in PCM .WAV format using WinAmp's diskwriter output plugin and then use an MP3 encoder such as LAME to save the release version.

You're Done!

After selecting your MP3 file and clicking "Upload", wait for the upload to complete (might take a while) and you will be taken to a "success" page. Others can start listening to your track right away and will start voting. Can your band make it into the BandCage top 25? The top 10? Maybe you can even make it to #1 and get front page exposure!
