Introducing BandCage videos and BandCage FQDN parking

With the latest version of BandCage, you can now upload small band videos (less than 16MB) and display them on your band profile page, in band news articles, and even in comments. We can accept almost any format of video and will automatically convert videos to FLV format so they can be easily viewed right from almost any web browser. If you have a bigger video, you can upload it to a website like YouTube, then use our easy tool to import the video link or you can send us a message and we'll see what we can do to help you out!

At the same time, we've added support for almost all audio formats, so if you upload a song in .WMA or .MP4 format, for example, we will automatically change it to MP3 so it can be played using our flash MP3 player.

One other feature that is brand new is domain name parking. You can now register a domain name like yourbandname.com and "park" it on your bandcage profile so that your profile will be displayed to anyone accessing your domain's website! Check out the FQDN setup page to get started.
