Most Valuable Asset formed from the dissolution of several other bands, such as ForniKate, Destructico, and Deathlok. The driving force was the original band ForniKate. Bassist and Vocalist Spinner Von Erich started ForniKate as drummer with friends Logan Beem and Joshua Laplant, which did not last long. With the motivation to form a new band, Spinner formed Destructico with drummer Zachary LaPoint and Mike Trivieres. As a side project, Spinner participated in Deathlok, where he pulled in Jared Poland. When those four united, Most Valuable Asset was formed.
